Some Linux and Mac versions are also available, but you need to check a little bit further. We are not very thrilled with the AOL browser; it has always seemed to interpose an extra layer between the raw web and the AOL user. It is however quite popular, so go ahead if that's what you like, just do it. Our choices are Mozilla's Firefox, Google's Chrome, but the others are also very fine browsers and it is hard to pick amongst them. We like to have at least 3 different browsers on any of our computers. There are many sites that require membership and some of us have 2 3 various ones It helps when you are let's say the manager, webmaster as well as a regular member of a site; In addition you may want to browse as a guest in order to make sure that you have defined all of these roles correctly. So for all the other browsers, a nice big GREEN light will do. |

![]() LimeWire is an application that connects your computer to a Peer-to-Peer network. The simplest explanation of this is that you basically share your computer with a large multitude of computer users numbering in the hundreds of thousands. You get to download whatever you like from their computers and they get to the same to yours. You will find mp3's of just about anything your heart desires, any movie you are interested and just about any software you like and all of it FREE of CHARGE. There are a couple of problems that you might encounter: 1. Downloads that you copy to your hard drive from this network, are for the most part ILLEGAL. There are a few law suits going on about this and we will have to wait for their outcome. Just keep in mind that Napster had to start charging for similar services in order to stay in business legally. Remember also that some people just like you were sued by the Record companies and forces to pay many thousands of dollars for allowing this kind of networking on their computers 2. You are creating a major security risk by allowing hundreds of thousands of strangers access to your computer. If that doesn't bother you, just go ahead! We however,
