On this site, you will find reviews as well as links to some item that are available for free. We will install, download, use and misuse them as much as possible,
after which we will form our opinion and indicate it in the simplest possible form - with a red, yellow or green light. Our opinions will be open to debate on our FORUM.
Here are some examples:

The 6 links is a web marketing system that is employing a variation of the pyramid scheme design. It is however, totally free and therefore absolutely legal. You will still have to work at promoting this method, but if you do, you will increase traffic to your site and quite substantially if you work it well.
We have only two little quibbles with it:
1. The activation code generating banner, does not go away, and the site you are looking at is actually framed within the fewbtraffic.com site.
If you click the "REMOVE THIS TOP FRAME" link, the site reverts to the original address but I'm afraid not many people will actually do this.
2. There are some issues with sites that are attempting to remove the frame automatically, and some of them are still unresolved.
Our overall impression is favorable and we find this system to be easy to implement and well worth your time.

This is not quite free - the price of admission however, is only as much as you care to spend on domain name registration (and that could be as little as $8.95/year. Once you have registered your domain, you can take advantage of the FREE web site hosting, free web design tools, like "Website Tonight," free personal e-mail account, free Photo Album and many other features. These freebies are really great but they are ad driven. We actually opted for the deluxe hosting package that allows us to display only ads that will generate income for us. The deluxe hosting can cost as little as $5.80/month but it comes with many great FREE features, like hosting up to 100 domain names on one account, multiple e-mail accounts and many free applications like: Coppermine Photo Album, Simple Machines Forum, WordPress blog, Zen Shopping Cart and many others. Our recommendation: pick the LINUX hosting package; there are a lot more FREE PHP application (which run on a LINUX server) then there are ASP.NET applications (which run on a WINDOWS server.) The kind of server you use, is almost transparent to you - you will not notice a difference. LLIMEWORKS etc., is offering the same great 24/7 customer support and 99% up time guarantee that godaddy.com is offering, BUT at a LOWER PRICE.

Let's say you are a musician and you have recorded and put together a great music CD. You have registered a good domain name and you got a lot of nice freebies to go with it (see above) and you now have your own FREE 5 page website. You'd love to try and sell your CD's but are not sure how the money will get to you. Merchant accounts tend to be quite expensive and you don't know of other ways to accept credit cards; not to mention that you do not want to spend more money on a shopping cart system. Guess what? PayPal will actually do all of that for you. When you open a PayPal account, you are able to accept credit cards, and use their shopping card system on your own web site. They will not charge you any money in advance and on every transaction they will take a very small percentage of the sale. At the time we are writing this, 1.9% - 2.9% + $0.30. There is nothing better than this anywhere. Just make sure that you deal with them and with all of your customers honestly and fairly and YOU'RE IN BUSINESS!

Gotta have at least one of these in order to get on the internet. They are all available for free and they all run on Windows systems. Some Linux and Mac versions are also available, but you need to check a little bit further. We are not very thrilled with the AOL browser; it has always seemed to interpose an extra layer between the raw web and the AOL user. It is however quite popular, so go ahead if that's what you like, just do it.
That's why we are giving it a yellow light.
Our choices are Mozilla's Firefox, Google's Chrome, but the others are also very fine browsers and it is hard to pick amongst them. We like to have at least 3 different browsers on any of our computers. There are many sites that require membership and some of us have 2 3 various ones It helps when you are let's say the manager, webmaster as well as a regular member of a site; In addition you may want to browse as a guest in order to make sure that you have defined all of these roles correctly. So for all the other browsers, a nice big GREEN light will do.

LimeWire and BitTorrent are the most popular applications that connect your computer to a Peer-to-Peer network. The simplest explanation of this is that you basically share your computer with a large multitude of computer users numbering in the hundreds of thousands. You get to download whatever you like from their computers and they get to do the same to yours. You will find mp3's of just about anything your heart desires, any movie you are interested in and just about any software you like and all of it FREE of CHARGE. There are a couple of problems that you might encounter:
1. Downloads that you copy to your hard drive from this network, are for the most part ILLEGAL. There are a few law suits going on about this and we will have to wait for their outcome. Just keep in mind that Napster had to start charging for similar services in order to stay in business legally. Remember also that some people just like you were sued by the BIG BAD record companies and forced to pay many thousands of dollars for allowing this kind of networking on their computers.
2. You are creating a major security risk by allowing hundreds of thousands of strangers access to your computer.

It is difficult to disapprove of such a great and very useful tool; peer-to-peer networking is a great way of sharing large amounts of data. We have to DISAPPROVE of illegal sharing of data and thus: yellow light - use intelligently.
